Map of Mallorca: 8 places you should circle

Planning a holiday in Mallorca? Have you looked for recommendations and keep finding the same places over and over again? In this article we advise you as to other places you should mark on your map of Mallorca, besides La Seu, Castell de Bellver, Valldemossa or Formentor, of course.

Some places that should be circled on your map of Mallorca:

Find alternative places to visit on the island and avoid posting the same picture to Instagram as everyone else, along with the entire summer tourist masses.

· Alternative towns in the Serra de Tramuntana: Banyalbufar, Estellencs and Bunyola

Instead of visiting the famous and eminently renowned Valldemossa, Deià and Sóller, give towns such as Banyalbufar, Estellencs or Bunyola a try.

These are towns also set in the Serra de Tramuntana world-heritage mountain range, with the same charm, side-streets and stone-clad houses: visit them and discover the authentic relaxed atmosphere of La Serra’s villages!

·Sineu, Petra or Llubí: Eat up the inner island!

Instead of having to book a table far in advance at Ca’s Patró and other coastal restaurants that made their name with their great views, try some new snacks and meals with a tour of the our inland towns.

In many typical restaurants and cellers that you’ll find in towns such as Sineu, Petra or Llubí you’ll be able to enjoy authentic Mallorquin food without the need for reservations and delight in a 100% local atmosphere.

Mark these towns on your map of Mallorca, have a nice stroll around and ask the townsfolk for a good recommendation, you won’t regret it!

· Talaies and the Puig de Randa: Find other miradors in Mallorca

Rather than basking in the evening views from famous the better-known miradores of Formentor, Sant Elm or Son Marroig you might pay a visit to some of the talaies that are to be found in the Serra de Tramuntana and enjoy the views from there.

You can also enjoy the views from the Puig de Randa: mark on your map of Mallorca the location of the monastery Santuari de Cura and you’ll be spoilt with magnificent views of the islands flatter central region, Pla de Mallorca.
